This job has helped me through so many things. Breakups, losing my apartment, losing my car, fights with family. My team in every store I've worked in has supported me and helped me though so much, and it was a sad last day as I worked with my main Saturday crew.

After becoming a SSV, I really worked my butt off for my manager and our store. We tried and tried but it ended up with my manager having to leave the store and I realized, I had no reason to push so hard anymore. We got a new manager and hes a nice guy but they're more like a terminator for Starbucks.

The reason being why I'm leaving is mainly because I didnt like where the manager was taking the store, and transferring wasnt possible because of my availability. But now I hopefully am gonna be working at a University and much better benefits.

To all the green beans and new people coming in, it does get better as long as you're supported through your team. <3 I'll always be a slave for sbux, so I'm gonna miss my discount and free pounds of coffee.

Stay awesome partners <3<3<3

Hi there! It's been a while but I'd thought I'd update you! It was terrifying not working for two weeks but I got a job and it's actually at a Starbucks at a university! It's considered a state job since it's under the Universitys name. I suggest trying to see if that can happen cuz I was a shoe in and it was like so much better and easier. I'd definitely try at a licensed store in a Uni or hospital. Cuz you have plenty of work experience and they'd love that. I hope everything's been going okay!

Oh my gosh thank you so so much for taking the time to update! That is amazing! I would think that would be worse because it would be busier, of like more stressful. I should go creep on a few and see how it’s like. Lol thank you again! Means a lot!

It is kinda busier but I came from a drive thru, so it's much easier without the headsets lol. And definitely scout out some nearby, and if you like it drop your info to the manager. You might just get a callback :D

Wow! My first store had no headsets down town Chicago it was hella busy. But I move to the suburbs and I got a dt store with headsets and we are even busier right next to a highway lol. I don’t see myself ever not having them. It’s like walkie talkies lol. But ya I will def look into it regardless and see what the difference is and maybe a hospital would be cool
