Question about the audits (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by actualpintobean
Hi everyone, I've been working at Starbucks for about a year now and I'm getting health insurance . I know I hit enough for this audit, but I'm confused. Why are there two audit dates and one open enrollment? If I don't make enough hours on the next audit date, but then I do on the audit date right before open enrollment, do I still get health insurance? Does that make any sense? Thank you for your time

i’m pretty sure enrollment is just once a year and the two audits are just to ensure that partners are still eligible moving forward. if they didn’t then people could stop working enough hours and still have health insurance for a whole year

Exactly!

Additionally if you lose eligibility and regain during either the January or July audit you will have the ability to enroll in benefits outside of open enrollment similar to the initial benefit eligibility audit.
