Call me oldschool, but I associate Starbucks with coffee. I'm an espresso guy myself. I'm sure a lot of people see this as another gimmick in a world of gimmicks.

On a similar note: Ten years ago, the menu boards at Starbucks used to list drinks and their corresponding prices. These days it's mostly covered in photos of promotional items.

We had only sold three when I clocked out at 1. We had zero signage up in our store though we never got the promo material. Literally just loaded up the shakers when we were opening this morning and nobody had gotten any practice yet. 😂 so nobody coming into the store was being sold on it in any way, only ones ordering saw the hype online or saw the ad on the app. I feel like it’s gonna blow up after all the free advertising they’re getting on insta today from whoever DID order it first.

Yeah we sold maybe six or seven at our store, which is the busiest in our half of the state... I was pretty surprised. We got our same rushes and peak hours but no one seemed to care/know what it was
