As a customer, I solemnly swear not to order or allow anyone in my party to order these drinks. And stick to their normal drink orders. Corporate is making your job harder for no reason at all.

Personally I kinda like making these ones. They come out pretty and the faces of everyone who gets one is great. What I hate is when they taste it and we end up having to make them another drink because it's trash.

Seriously, as with the unicorn frap, sure they’re a pain and extra steps and stain your fingers and bar BUT when you hand one off to a 6 year old child and see a face of delight, all worth it. Even more worth it when you finish that child’s order and they get excited but you intentionally call out a different name, the look of disappointment but then the EXTRA delight when you tell them you’re kidding and it’s for them.

I had a child scream bloody murder and burst into tears when his mom said he had to share it with his mom. So. It’s cute for a second until they have all that sugar. Ugh. Not cool.
NOTcreative-3 points4y ago
That happens sure but from my experience it’s not the norm. It’s all about the parents. I’m probably in a different market than you.
TessaFink3 points4y ago
Yeah. Most people were fine and just enjoyed the frap. It was just an annoying moment that was annoying. That could have happened with any frap
spartasmomma4 points4y ago
I second this!!! They are not too bad to make at all!! But yeah...what were they thinking with the flavor 🤢
amcc048 points4y ago
part of me wants to order one just because a) it’s pretty, b) it’s cheery and c) I’m curious about how it tastes. but I also don’t want to get one because I don’t want to do that to anyone @ Starbucks cuz I keep seeing how partners hate making fraps & such
Scarymommy15 points4y ago
If you want it, please order it. Partners get annoyed about a lot of things. (I say this as a partner)
amcc044 points4y ago
I’ve got an interview this weekend to hopefully become a partner, if I get it I’m sure I’ll understand why everyone gets so annoyed and frustrated about this kind of stuff.
fraps also have slowly become something I’m less interested in, so idk if I’ll actually try it. that much sugar is just bleh to me now
Scarymommy3 points4y ago
Good luck on your interview! I seriously love my partners and 98% of our customers.

Fuck Karen’s though

It tastes like a shitty banana

Personally, I'd prefer you to order what you want. Fraps are a little annoying but it's part of our job. Get what you want
Wolfness728 points4y ago
I honestly like making these drinks only because they're so easy lol. And it's funny to see peoples reaction to the taste and looks
yours-truly-6 points4y ago
I’m a partner of 3 years and I LOVE making the wacky drinks. It saddens me that our customers don’t feel comfortable ordering fun drinks. Tik Tok drink, tie dye drink, unicorn frap, bring it on! Sure it’s a lot of extra steps so as long as the customer recognizes that it’s gonna take longer and we are humans and not robots making these beverages then all is good!

If i go to a store during peak it’s always simple drinks. Off peak though I’ll get a little creative.

Side note, do you guys know or care that the rewards system is glitching. A lot of people I know are ordering a ton of drinks and pastries for 150 stars. Lol
