it wasn’t too bad, in the moment i was just super flustered because that thing is nasty and i knew that most of the people i made it for weren’t even gonna enjoy it. no one likes to make anything knowing that there’s a high possibility of someone hating it, ya know? it just bothers me because this frappuccino is a very niche flavor...like could they have not made a strawberry powder, or blueberry powder, or literally any other fruit? cuz like 10% of the population would enjoy a banana frappuccino and it’s just obvious that at this point the quality of the product is less important than making a weird/cool looking drink. it’s just feels like it’s becoming a cash grab

Oh it's TOTALLY a cash grab. Anytime anyone asked about it, we made a point to mention that it was a banana flavored frappucino. Lotta people lost interest after that

My area is suburban with some affluence, so you best believe we make SO MANY Frappuccinos and of course SO MANY of them were this expensive banana laffy taffy stuff.

Every time I see banana laffy taffy as the description I think to one of my green beans describing it to a customer today. They said “it’s like pineapple mango and very tropical”. I was like HOLD UP. NO IT IS NOT! LIAR! I said “um. No. It’s banana” they responded “no it’s not...” um. I wanna know wtf they were drinking. Seriously.

There is a specific yeast strain in certain beers that creates a very unique ester taste. I often compare this to bubblegum but people tell me: "No way, it tastes like cloves."

As someone who was literally eaten cloves, I disagree with them there but can see the banana candy taste. Amazing that I can disagree with so many people on something that isn't very subjective.
