My manager really pissed me off the other day.. I am currently in the process of moving to another state, so I obviously I put in a transfer request. Found a store near my new house. Mind you I put in my transfer request mid-June, I’m leaving in August. Talked to my manager and everything. I asked her last week when I finally seen her ‘Hey any news from the DM about my transfer’ just a reasonable question🤷🏻‍♀️. She tells me she’ll ask her and get back to me. On Wednesday she texts ‘Hey just to let you know I cashed you out on your mileage, money will be in safe.’ I reply ‘Cool, Thank you. Hey any update on the transfer’. I hadn’t seen her all week. NO Response. Then the next morning she texts me if I can come in and hour early for my shift. I say yes. I walk in and I see both my manager and DM sitting down. Perfect time to confront this situation.
Me: Hey while I have both of y’all here. Any news on my transfer request?.
They both give each other this look.
My manager: you actually have to fill out a new one.
She runs to the back to print out a new page. Me standing there confused.
DM: She barely sent to me yesterday, and it was a picture.
I was so pissed but confused!!!
So I go to the back and fill it out, my manager is giving me this dumb excuse as to why. The she starts to give me hassle about my last day since it’a technically 2 weeks away. And I wanted to take 2 weeks off to pack, move, and get comfortable in my new city! Then she tried to hit me with the if you take more than a week of that’s a Leave of Absence. Me like ‘ Okay but we talked about my dates when I gave you my first transfer request form.!?!’ So me being nice I say let me think about this then. I tell I’m willing to extend till last week of July/first week of August. I get on the same page as my DM so there’s no more confusion.

Am I trippin or is that just pure negligence right there!?! Sorry it’s a long story lol
