I just got hired as a barista at a huge airport and I'm wondering how it is. I got hired from Hms Host and this is my first job ever. Anyone want to share their experiences with me?

currently st an airport bucks and honestly i love it. you don’t get normal customers, i’ve never gotten a karen so far, airport employees (the regulars) are always nice. hms is pretty good, atleast here! lots of pros over a corporate store i feel like. i wish we got partner numbers and some other corporate benefits though.

Yes! When you get used to how busy it is in whatever state your in it will get easier over time. Don’t overwhelm yourself ! :)

I used to work for hms host at a travel plaza and let me tell you. I love starbs as much as the next barista but hms host is a terrible company to work for. I know every place is different but the company as a whole is just ridiculous. So foreeal good luck🙏🏼

I started working in the same roll. And people are nice, but the organization is so confusing in regards to management structure and communication.
