Soooooo, I've been working for a year now at my SB and I want to transfer now. I recently moved to a move place, and there's a SB in a 5 min walking distance from me. I still go to school, and I was thinking that transferring would totally be beneficial for me in which I could work more shifts/get better hours that work for me. The thing is... my SB store manager will get supper slaty/mad if I asked for a transfer :<

Reach out to the other SM at your desired location first. Ask if they can accept you as a transfer. If they can take you, you will have to go to your manager. He/she may not be happy, but assuming that you are in good standing and are performing up to standard, the transfer should be no problem and you will fill out a transfer request form. If your SM gets upset/says you can’t transfer, reach out to your DM directly.

This is exactly what I would say to do as well. A similar situation happened at a store in my district and the partner reached out to the DM and it got approved right away.

Have a one on one with your SM and express yourself. If they still seem like an upsetty Betsy, then contact the DM
