Working for twelve years, in various stores from Georgia to Kentucky? xD
I get serious about day dotting and organization.
I'm glad someone here appreciates it, cos my SM actually makes fun of me for wanting things neat.

I honestly want to send you a picture of my cart at my BRAND NEW store. No one cares. It’s disguising. My new store has been open since March and it’s DISGUSTING. Move to Chicago.

Oh hell. No. Lol that’s too much commitment. Lol I feel like they have much more to do for the same amount of pay. I came from a reserve bar which required a ton of work and I finally transferred out to a new location and it’s like half the work for same pay. It’s ridiculous. Chicago is great! Lots of opportunities but the stickers for your license plate is going up to 200 bucks next year. That’s my only complaint lol

So guys.
I just got fired today.
Cos people lied about me vaping in the store and used something I said as a joke against me. Since all of night crew was doing it, I jokingly said, "Hey, if anyone asks about it, we don't do it." and my SM said that I straight up told everyone to lie to him if he asks about it.
I am devastated.

that sounds like a call to your DM. I don’t Kenzie if there’s anything to be done about it, but it couldn’t hurt. I’m sorry to hear about this - you seem like a really organized and dedicated partner.

According to my SM, the DM knows about it.
And I really feel like it was retaliation, cos I came from a really strict district where we did everything correctly and then when I moved here, it was just chaos and no one knew standards, even cared to do anything by standard. So I butted heads with the SM and one other shift, who was basically in his pocket.
I'm super over it. I'm currently filling out applications and seeing about unemployment. Le sigh.

if there’s a case for retaliation, you can definitely pursue it! you could call the PCC. I just hate seeing good ones go!

I appreciate this because every time I come to work the pastry’s are always a hot mess and people don’t know what they’re doing even though the day dots are literally right on it. Like hello. You can’t mix the Monday and Tuesday pastries.
