I had a DT customer ask me for a gift certificate for her patience. You heard me right. I didn't offer one... she asked for a gift card. White rich moms are the worst.

A lady came through my dt before asking for a Traveller DURING MORNING PEAK. I kindly asked her to pull to the front parking lot and we'll deliver it there when it's ready bc it would take 5-15 mins. We had a lot of people who would mobile order travelers at 7am during peak and come through drive thru 2 minutes later. Asked them to park and come in. It was wonderful to see their faces.

I would have just said "Oh... sorry we can't remake it for just aesthetic reasons. If you want us to make it look prettier next time then you should come in when we're less busy and specify at the register" and that's just me being nice

Sometimes, after a long day slinging the sugar sauce we call product, I get REALLY depressed when I think about the level of entitlement companies like Starbucks are fostering in people.
Yes, by taking every stupid thing a customer can throw at us, we're getting a higher customer connection score or quicker drive times, but we are doing nothing but reinforcing negative and shitty behavior in people.
