Well sorta like the last person touched on if you are slower its a bigger struggle for drive times. One of the big things our store does is *Beep* 'Thank you for choosing starbucks, is there any breakfast or pastries we can get started for you today' that way we are more likely to have those min long eggbites ready at the window when they order a trenta unsweeten iced tea that takes 20 second to make. Doesn't always work but it helps a lot if you find your store waiting on food.

A trick we use is similar. We ask how they are to connect and increase our customer connections while extending dto time to give more time for bar to make drinks before the car arrives at the window to hand off.

My old manager use to say “ common sense people!” Lol if you see warming has a million food items, go get your food instead of waiting by the window for it to come is an example. She is a 6 number partner and very much knows window is a planted position. She just always wanted us to... always be doing something to make the times go down. Well it worked because my old stores numbers were at 32-34 most days and bad times was a 40 which did not settle well with her. We were a high volume store like 85-95 transactions a half an hour. Which also helped with drive times. My new store, slow af. Which means it’s harder to get drive times down. This store follow starbucks guidelines on positions to a T and honestly it slows us down. I dunno 🤷🏽‍♀️
