Thank god it wasn’t an open. My dad had open heart surgery and I think I did a clo open, was up for the rest of that day and all night then had another open, because no one would take my shift. As a shift. Smh

Ya fuck that. After that, I demoted myself and promised I would never ever choose this company over my heath or family ever again. No matter how much people hated me for it. In 6 years I have called off 3 times. I’m so so so sorry for your dad. I know how it feels to watch a family member go thru such scary stuff. Please take care of yourself because that’s most important. Prayers for your family.

I appreciate it, i feel it I cover EVERYONES shifts... Yet this one time, no one could cover me... Funny how that works 🙄 ive been a partner for 2 years never called off worked over 60 hours several weeks in a row and never got a thanks or someone that coukd cover my shift when i needed it...

This seems to be a problem at every store I have worked and meeting people who also work for this company. Back in the day it was easy to find coverage because people actually wanted to work. Now it’s like you can’t even get someone to respond. Take care of yourself. It’s okay to say no and DO not go to work if you physically can’t. Good luck and again prayers for your family.

in my area, a lot of vietnamese people get this (iced espresso with x pumps white mocha) because it’s the closest tasting thing they have to vietnamese coffee!

We do a lot of these here near Dallas. Minus the cream though.
