My store has a customer that insists on bringing a regular paper Starbucks cup back and reusing it for his 10 cents off, I've explained time and time again that I can't accept it because it's a health code violation and he always get flustered and angry and essentially forces me to do it. Any advice on how to deal with a customer like this? Cause I'm seriously just considering buying him a resusuable mug 🙄🙄🙄

As a shift, I'd say toss the cup and if hes that adamant about the 10 cents just give him the discount. Making the moment right and all that jazz

Maybe offer him the plastic reusable hot cup? It’s super cheap! If he doesn’t want to pay for one then maybe ask a supervisor or your manager to handle it from there..that cup is probably so nasty
