We have a woman who orders 12 ice cubes in her iced drink. I also had a non-regular order 5 ice cubes in her iced drink... There were 6.

To be fair, the standard scoops put a LOT of ice... idk I always make my own drinks with light ice, but customers definitely get bitchy about it.

Guy tried to argue that Starbucks cheats its customers out of volume, then Starbucks replied with we’re basically giving people more than the value of what they pay for and the judge laughed.

I do my frappuccino with lite ice. I swear the regular ice makes it a huge clump of flavorless ice with a hint of sadness. Then I have to let it sit for 20 mins until the ice melts and I can actually drink it.

In Japan light ice means literally light ice. We have a button next to it for more milk though, not more drink substance. 🤷🏻♀️ you get what you ordered.
