I had one just like that on my hand. Until a bean got stuck in the brew basket and grounds over flowed and when I pulled it out the grounds went on my hand with hot water and instead of registering it was hot I slowly walked over to the garbage and dumped it... and it left me with 2nd and 3rd degree burns on my whole hand and I was out for a month. After the plastic surgery laser treatments and my hand healed the burn I originally had from the oven was gone. Moral of the story, make a bigger burn over that one and it will go away lol 😂

I’ve not been injured at a job more than I have this one. All the scars on my hands are from the ovens. And I still can’t feel my finger after stabbing it with a scissor trying to cut the tight zip tie on on an RTD bin. Take care of yourself. Hope it heels up fast.

I have an inch long scar from a hot cookie pan that I brushed against my arm. Idk if Starbucks bakes cookies but we do at B&N cafe lol

Make sure you buy "scar away" ointment or gel from walgreens unless you want that to turn into a big nasty scar once it heals. Fix it while it's recent

lmao last week I accidentally put my thumb on it and it burned right through the glove I was wearing for cleaning. The skin on the top of my thumb was white for a few days.

just got back from urgent care checking out a burn of my own (: love me some 500°F charred melted cheese flying off of the oven door at me.

I don’t have pictures, but over the last 4 years I’ve gotten quite a few burns from the oven. I’m almost always placed on warming during peak cause I’m one of only a few people who can keep up with our 85 uph.
I have a scar on my left hand from a blob of molten chocolate of a CHCT. As well as a couple scars on my forearm from DSB grease.

I've been lucky with the oven, but I've got a bigass one on the back of my hand from some of that devilish RFTB cheese so i feel your pain >:C

Sadly, I got burns from the nitrogen of the bombs we use to make whipped cream. It leaked and I got a couple of drop on my wrist. It wasn't really fun x-x
