Save the DT order and build a new one.

Choose “Reload Starbucks card,” select the amount, scan their app barcode as the card to be reloaded, and hit tender. Use the gift card as payment.

Tap “Find Order” and bring up the DT order. Then just pay with the app!

You don’t even need to save the drive thru order you can do it all with the order up. Literally pretend the gift card is cash. With the order still up so you don’t have to go and pull it up again just find out how much is on the card reload their Starbucks app with how much is on the gift card, press pay with Starbucks card swipe the gift card and then it will say they owe ( obviously because you just added the gift card onto the phone at this point) then press Starbucks card and scan their card again. :) easy peezy. I always say “ can ya keep your phone open on that screen for a second?” Also creates a little bit of a customer connection too!
