lol that's great. Hope you and your team had a good laugh and shrugged it off.

And who the hell calls a latte a regular coffee? Everyone ought to be forced to drink plain black drip coffee for several days in order to reset this obscure association. It's like when I worked at my last non-Starbucks coffee shop. People would ask for a macchiato then be confused when they got espresso and froth. Then they'd ask for a caramel latte and got one. (Using Caramel syrup - not vanilla syrup)

I'm thankful that my store has the order screen that shows the order, because then I can say "is everything on the screen right" so when they try to pull the "that's not at all what I ordered" I can say "you approved of the order before pulling around"

Its customers like this that make me think I’m crazy or deaf or something. Today someone asked for a pike place with shots of vanilla syrup. I did that for him and he’s like “is that iced coffee with milk???” And I go “no..” so his friend told me to refund it. I do a refund and the guy starts yelling at me telling me I’m wasting his time. I asked what he’d like me to do for him. He then proceeded to argue that his drink should be free.

You cannot win with these people.

This woman was probably trying to get a free latte or is just stupid. Starbucks has shown us that people are beyond horrible.
