Do people really not find it rude when Starbucks doesn’t send rejection emails like if I took the time to prepare and dress up and drive to and go through an interview and the anxieties that come with it I’d really appreciate the common courtesy of minimal communication so I’m not waiting around..

This for any job really. I actually entered in my phone numver wrong on the application so my manager spent around a week trying to contact me with my starting schedule. I thought I just didn't get the job at first

I applied to 2 Starbucks. I got accepted at my current place and the other one denied me and I got a rejection email.

I would give them a call something next week. The manager probably hasn’t gotten around to emailing/calling yet. While that does suck, give them the benefit of the doubt!

Check in with the manager. They may just be behind. It is 100% not uncommon. And FWIW, Starbucks does a hella better job with this than a lot of places.

Sometimes background checks take longer than expected or maybe the sm got busy because working at Starbucks is like tumbling down a very tall mountain

Yeah I was told I'd hear back in a week.
Took 2 weeks to get the hiring call.
Another 2 weeks before I actually started.

Still got the job. Maybe lose the attitude and be patient, or give the store a call.
