Don’t be afraid to ask for help. I’m a green bean as well and when I’m both front register and warming I always try to finish with the customer first and then grab the oven. If they’re still ordering after the oven has beeped a couple times I just say excuse me one second while I grab this. I think it’s better to finish one task before moving on to the next so if your warming something finish that first before going to the customer so that you don’t forget or have to interrupt them to go get the food, just always say “hi welcome in, I’ll be with you in just a moment”. For drive, I find most customers aren’t bothered by being asked to repeat something but if they’re getting rude, just say I’m sorry I’m just trying to get your order right and I’m having a really hard time hearing you. Its better to get it right while they’re ordering and not have them give it back to you to remake at the window, especially during peak when the people on bar are drowning in drinks and the drive line is piling up. And at the end of the day it’s just coffee, don’t let an angry customer ruin your day. I don’t know if getting advice from a fellow green bean is your best bet, but I know I struggled with this when I first started too. If any more experienced employees comment something different I would definitely take their advice over mine, but this is the system I use and it’s been smooth sailing for me :)
