I think its more that they put it in a bag and almost served it. But either way, I agree. Doubt they would get fired, probably just reminded of safe food handling.

I have a coworker who has continuous no call no shows with weak excuses and then proceeds to barely now how to do their job, emphasis on how they are STILL my coworker. if they could do that, you’re allowed to make mistakes that everyone will make at some point in their job. you’re fine!!

I honestly dont think you will get fired for that. Everyone has off days. Just make sure that your more aware next time when handling you pastries. Im not sure whether or not your at a Corp or licensed store but stuff happens and if they do check the cameras everyday they might talk to you. I work at Kroger and they dont check them on a daily basis.
