My trainer was a shift and she left after my first month or two with the siren. I really looked up to her and know she was part of what made our store a special and welcoming place to work at and visit as a customer. Was pretty bummed out when she left. But a little while later our SM posted like. Consideration forms for her now vacant position? I have an administration degree and managerial experience so I filled one out on a whim because I love my store and want to help it grow.

Never heard anything back until today when my SM let me and other in store candidates know that the initial interviews would be tomorrow 😬. He JUST found out himself. I’m crazy nervous because I feel like I’ve seen people post about SSV interviews being a weird process with like coffee tastings and such that they had to prepare for weeks in advance. Is that a next step thing or am I going to be totally blindsided and unprepared tomorrow?

I asked today’s SSV and my SM if they have any advice for the interview. SSV just laughed nervously when she realized it’s just tomorrow and she talked to my SM for like an hour after her shift was over about all that they need to do to get the store ready?? and my SM told me not to worry that it’s not like a firing squad and to text him my email so he could send me some info. And he’s not always the best with follow through on things like that he sometimes needs reminders but liiiike if this is a thing happening tomorrow that I should prepare for then I wanna know ASAP 😂
