We've all dealt with some stuck up, snobby "Karens" in our time but some just people just top the cake with their rudeness.
I had jumped on bar to support a struggling green bean in the middle of an afternoon rush and answered the phone... It was a woman from the drive-thru line calling because she was 10 minutes late to a meeting and was asking what was taking so long and what I could be doing to make the line move faster AS I WAS ON BAR. I calmly explained that I was making drinks as fast as I could and she would be out in no time, but she just kept going even after I explained that I was LITERALLY ON BAR. I even offered to give the phone to my SSV so she could talk to her, but she snarkily told me I needed to move faster and promptly hung up.

recently i had a guy come through the drive thru without stopping at the speaker box (red flag no.1) and asked me to give him his fifty in small bills. when i explained we didn’t do that he ordered a small iced coffee and payed with it which i reluctantly let slip since there’s no EXPLICIT rule against taking fifties. when he asked for cream on the side i gave him a little short cup of cream and he got pissy about us not having those little containers of creamer and threw everything out his window upon driving away. the customer behind him in line who watched this interaction pulled up and said “i have no idea how you didn’t strangle that guy”

Some lady asked me if I was lying for charging her for heavy whipping cream in her stupid keto coffee.
Because the OTHER Starbucks didnt charge her.
I told her they were ringing her up wrong and she let it go. Made her drink.
She came down to pick it up and asked me if its really a rule that she is supposed charge her or I was lying and making it up just to charge her.
I swear to god if I could have crawled over the counter I would have.
I of course said it was true and that again the other starbucks are charging her wrong and not every starbucks follows the rules. So I called a Corp store just to make sure.
