Hi reddit! So i’ve been trying to get hired at starbucks for ages now and it finally happened! It’s my first coffe related job so i’m kinda nervous about learning everything, especially since SB has such a giant menu. Does anyone that’s been working there have any tips that might be useful? (jic it matters I’m working at a SB on my college campus.)

Don’t worry. I started working as a barista at SB 3 weeks ago part time and got my barista certification after just 9 shifts. I never did coffee work before. It seems tricky at first but you’ll pick up everything really quickly.

Don’t sweat it, everything has the same recipe just with a couple variations. Only a handful of drinks stand alone against the standard recipes.
