Promo Shirts (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by The_Comedian86
When a new promo shirt comes out are we forced to wear them or do we have the option to say, “no thank you”?

Probably depends on your store/district. I pretty much never wear them and haven't had any problems but ymmv

Kiosks get none :/ but hey we did get the 100 pack of summer stickers w/ the the dye fraps that are basically useless.

I just have to wear all black shoes and polo, black pants or dark jeans. I use one shirt and wash on off days. Will probably never rid it of the stale coffee smell lol.

My krobux gave me one shirt and one apron because they couldn't afford to give me more.
While everyone else had a million aprons and stuff...
I ended up taking someones old apron who didn't work there anymore just to have two and now we wear what we want so that resolved the shirt problem.
But it sucked for a while when I had to work a ton of days in a row and my boyfriend wasnt home either to do laundry. Of course I never went to work with nasty clothes. Maybe damp 😂.

People in my store don’t wear them but personally I love them since they’re my designated comfy work shirts and I don’t have to buy new ones.

Is there a reason you don’t want to wear it though?
