So I ordered a venti iced blonde caramel macchiato and the barista didnt know it... How do i even order a blonde espresso for my Iced CM....he kept insisting I get the regular dark roast

It sounds like he hasn’t been properly trained on what it is or how to find it. I hope he gets the information but next time I would ask to talk to someone else and maybe let a manager know. That’s very concerning. You should be able to just ask for blonde, I’ve had no issues making blonde drinks for people. Or they could have been out and instead of telling you that he just insisted you get the regular roast

I see but did I order it right..it was my first time trying to order it and failed. I even told him I think its the veranda and willow blend...

Oh no it’s blonde espresso, if you were trying to get regular coffee in an espresso drink then that may have been where the confusion came from. Veranda and Willow are our drip coffee blondes. But blonde espresso is just called blonde

I see. So first he was confused with blonde espresso. And then I confused him even more when I mentioned veranda and willow. Im lost myself lol. I guess next time ill just stick to Venti iced blonde caramel macchiato and stay quiet haha. Thanks salvia!

Happy to help! I know we have a lot of choices and options and it can get very confusing! You were trying to be clear and that’s okay! We just have a lot of “blonde” products so it can get confusing on what’s what!
Edit: if they get confused when you say blonde just clarify you want Blonde Espresso and they should understand!

Some stores don't offer blonde espresso. One inside my grocery store only had one espresso machine, which can only hold two types of beans, so it was regular and decaf. No blonde is available at a store with one espresso machine.

6 different coffees. 1- Brewed (blonde, dark, pike, decaf) 2- Espresso (blonde, regular, decaf) 3-Ice coffee 4-Cold brew. 5- Nitro. 6-Frap roast (in Frappuccinos)
