I’m the assistant at a high volume licensed store that runs incredibly similar to a corporate store (from what i’ve heard). our customer connection scores are down 7-10 points every month from last year. we’re trying to push connection (asking about their day, plans, etc) as much as possible but it is either too repetitive or not everyone is following through with the instructions. any one else struggling with their sbux DM’s being really struck about the scores and ways we could raise them?

my store’s customer connection scores are not so hot, but not much is being done. I go out of my way to “make it right” and converse with customers (if they look willing, at least) but none of my other partners seem to give a damn and our SM hasn’t said anything to fix it.
