I teach my green beans to cover it with their apron/ body to block it from getting everywhere.

I’ve recently blown up two whips myself not checking for gaskets. They’ve been how effective it is to recognize immediately when it’s exploding and to cover it up.

I’ve also seen that a little ole towel thrown over it can help defend against the barrage of dairy.

I was stupid and tried to make one without the spout... when it started to blow I used my hand to cover it.....

That N20 burn was NOT fun and I still made a mess.

Someone at my store got hit by a car on their bike a few weeks ago and so they couldn’t charge the whips because there arm is in a sling. They asked me to twist them and charge them. I looked at every single person on the floor and said if I charge these whips and one doesn’t have a seal, I’m gonna be pissed, but it would be a hilarious joke to pull on someone.

So fun fact, you can actually feel if the gasket is in there when you screw the lid on. If someone hands you whips to charge and you didn't put the lid, loosen and then tighten the lids back on, if there is a slight "give" when tightening there is a gasket. If not, check it.

Won't help if the gasket doesn't align quite right, but it'll keep you from having a huge issue.

Well this is odd. I've charged whips without the gasket before and they've never exploded on me. They've only not fully charged, and I had to go back back, find a gasket, and charge them again.

If they did explode then I would have made many more messes, I'm sure.

Its a weekly occurrence at my store. We have a girl whos worked here for a few months and somehow explodes at least 1 whip every time she makes them. Last saturday the entire floor, trash barrel, and drive thru POC were a sticky mess of heavy cream because she exploded 3 lmao

Well we put it in our little cold foam station (we have another blender for fraps) because we really only use it for the cascara cold foam

Yeah but the cold foam is supposed to be made with the full espresso bar pump not the smaller cold bar pump. Check the recipe card

I remember this one time I was making whips and i forgot the rubber gasket thing and it exploded in my face and I started yelling “SOMEONE LEAD ME TO THE BACK!!” so I could wash my face bc it got all in my eyes and my manager was like “you’re fine it’s not even that bad” to which I sadly opened up my whip creamed eyes and lead my defeated self to the back LOL

I did this once, but ive been there for a month and I've been pretty solid on making them.




Except for the one time i made like 10 of them with sugar free vanilla instead of normal vanilla...😬😬😬

There’s a little rubber gasket thing in the lid and if it’s not in there when you charge them KABLOOM. WHIP EVERYWHERE
