Will this affect my hiring? (self.starbucksbaristas)

I had a great (or what I thought) was a great interview for a barista position. The manager said she liked what she saw, I had a good work history, I was pleasant to talk to and sweet. She said she liked that I researched the company and it’s values. She told me that she would let me know by Monday if I had the job or not and she would call regardless.
So, Monday came and I didn’t hear anything. I decided to go down to the store at the end of the day and I inquired about my interview. Manager said not to worry, she would call at the end of the day.
By now, (Tuesday) I assume I didn’t get the position. But I’d applied to 7 other stores in the area. Will this affect my chances of getting an interview with other locations?

She simply forgot, sorry. But no, applying to other locations won't hurt your chances anywhere.

Thanks! I was so bummed out when I didn’t get the call. I really like this company and I hope I have a chance to be a partner eventually.

No worries. I remember the day I was suppose to interview for a life-changing career job, the damn dude forgot about the interview and had to postpone. Given how incredibly busy these places are, I'm sure they just forgot or may be swamped. Call in and ask Friday or so.

Call again by the end of the week if you dont hear anything! They are probably just really busy but if you keep trying to get in touch with them it shows you're serious about working there. Also if you get another interview at another store I would let them know that you've interviewed already, that way they can get in touch with that manager and no wires get crossed.

Thank you! I certainly will! And they are so busy! This location opens at 4:30 and closes at 11.

I had to harass my store to get hired because the store manager was so busy.

That sucks, but to be honest, even being hired at Starbucks doesn't affect your ability to be hired at a Starbucks lol
I applied to six local Starbucks. After a day, I got a call from one inviting me to interview. I got the job and accepted it that weekend...and kept getting calls from Starbucks in the same district inviting me to interview at their stores!

I was supposed to hear back on a Monday too, and ended up hearing back Tuesday afternoon. Like others said, they’re probably busy and I would wait until the end of the week to contact them again. Nagging is never a good look for an employee.
