They do a reasonable amount of training for all of us to be flexible and be able to do any position when asked to. But, there are still positions that we become stronger in that we end up doing most of the time. So I’m just curious, what’s everyone’s main?

At my old store I was mostly customer support which I didn't mind. My new store is better at rotating their baristas evenly though, which is a very nice change.

I do DTO most of the time, I've ended up loving it. I was on a path to main bar until my coworkers by just accidentally discovered i was great at drive thru. I finesse that time pretty well too ✨

omg. i forgot about drive thru. we don’t have drive thru where i’m at. i might be moving states and the stores i’ve been to have a drive thru, which i am kinda dreading

it's honestly not as bad as it seems! it's intimidating at first because you're encouraged to be fast, but no ones (if you have a good team that is) going to push you past your ability. plus half the time you have a buddy. and dto is probably the least stress position if you're good at talking to people.

i give mega props to POS mains that are really good at making connections. they are the underdogs seriously. whenever i POS i’m just horrible at socializing (and i’ve been in the service industry since I was 16) plus that connection gives us people on the bar time to catch up and the customers don’t even notice you guys are basically stalling

I think I’m put pretty evenly in the roles maybe a bit more often bar tho.
