omg so many customers in my store do this. “can i get a grande iced” and when i look confused or ask them anything, they think i’m an idiot. they mean iced coffee by the way

Yesterday someone ordered an “iced decaf” then added “with mocha” and when asked about whether they want an americano, latte, or whatever else they just pulled forward... like why do people ever think not explaining helps?

I had a lady who used to come in all the time, she ordered an espresso macchiato. What she wanted was a caramel macchiato. But outright refused to call it that, I had to tell her that espresso macchiatos are a real drink and if you keep ordering it that way, it’ll be on you that you believe it’s wrong. 🤷♀️

My favorite is people who come to the register and just say "one coffee". That's it. No hello, no please, no size, nothing. And when I ask for details, they just repeat "just a coffee", like I'm going to understand better the fourth time.

My favorite is when people come through the DT and say they placed a mobile order. And I just standing there like "okay, sure." Silence. "What's the name it's under?" Lol like what, am I supposed to read you GD mind?

Today someone came in and ordered three drinks. The last one she read to me off of her phone (I assume she was ordering it for a friend who texted her the order) “I also need a caramel macchiato thingy... the one with ice.”
M: “okay so an iced Carmel macchiato, what size?”
Her: “its the Frappuccino”
Turns out after asking questions, it was a white mocha Frappuccino. THOSE ARE NOT THE SAME.
