Strawless lids (self.starbucksbaristas)

So we got the G/V strawless lids but not the T lids.
I work at krobux so we didnt get any updates and they just came.
Thanks to the starbucks reddit I knew what they were for and I have also found a brief read on the site.
I had to argue with my coworker about taking the straws from the self serve (for G/V) and that we are supposed to inform them we are transitioning.
She kept giving straws out but I told her to stop after alot of arguing and calling stores and such.
Customers are still demanding straws and putting them in the hole defeating the whole purpose.
Am I supposed to just keep giving straws?
They say ok or alright thats cool but then come back for a straw. Is it really THAT HARD to use this lid.

hahaha some people just like using straws even with the strawless lids, our store still gives out straws because some customers want them. we keep them by the handoff counter and by the drive thru and personally i just always ask a customer if they want a straw with their drink even if it's a strawless lid because some customers just like it that way and it saves them having to ask you for one
