A few years ago when my coworker was training he put a cookie in the oven and it alone combusted into flames. Not the oven. Not the heating paper. A fucking COOKIE 😭 how does that even happen?!?

I actually have seen multiple cookies catch fire in the oven. Never seen anything else light up except the cookie so you are not alone. So weird

When I first got hired (6 year partner) I was told to always use 2 pieces of parchment when warming cookies. Multiple times parchment has caught on fire in our ovens, but never with 2 pieces of parchment. Always when someone only used one.

No, No, see... that's just the chocolate glaze on the croissant. It just tastes burnt because we have to brulee the glaze onto every croissant with a blow torch, before it goes in the oven. #sbuxsecrets

An oven at my old store lost sensitivity in the top-left button so when thinking I hit qty 1, I just left a croissant in there to be forgotten about until we smelled it charring ☠️
