Nothing irritates me more than when people come to pick up their drinks and ask me while I'm at cafe bar, "is this my drink?!"
Idk, is it?
"What is your name? What did you order? If that is what the cup says, then it is probably yours."
It takes 5 seconds to look at the sticker on the drink...

My favorite is when they tell the person on register they are in a hurry, then come to bar and expect their cup to be moved magically to the front of the line.
Like ma'am, there's no URGENT button, you're still going to have to wait a sec. I didn't finish making your drink before you finished ordering it.

This drives me nuts! Especially because this isn’t a place where we are mass making the same drinks all at once, each beverage is hand crafted and it’s crazy enough that baristas are able to rush so fast.

I had someone tell me they were too busy and to just give them a credit for next time and immediately walked out while I was still processing. Like, what??? There was nothing I could do to refund him because he just left!

I hate that too. If they talk to me about it on bar, I'll try to push them up the line if I'm able to but some people don't say shit til they're mad. I've told some people they'll have to call about it to leave their info if they didn't want to wait long enough for a recovery card or anything.

Honestly, this woman at my store ordered a Hot venti decaf latte with a bunch of modifications and she immediately went to the handoff plane 1 minute later she comes up to me and says “is this my drink because this tastes horrible” and I looked at the sticker and it said “Gr White Mocha” and I said “Ma’am this is a white mocha” and she just goes “well where’s my drink because that tastes awful” like CAN YOU NOT READ YOUR OWN STICKER? I honestly don’t understand some people

My favorite is when one person has a drink in a personal cup and Betty grabs said persons drink, “Is this mine”

I had that happen to me, I was making an Americano or something for "Jane" and this old guy was like "I sPeCiFicAllY said I wanted that with cream" and I was like "oh okay, are you Jane?" and he was like "... No" and i checked where he was in the queue and we still had 6 drinks before his 😂 damn bro
