So I’m a green bean 272xxxx, and i’ve worked in retail/food service for a long time before joining starbucks so cranky and rude customers are no challenge to me. but boy did i underestimate how much people care about coffee and pastries lol. I’m normally an opener (4:30 am at my bux) and today this woman complained about her 5 minute wait time, FIVE, mind you it was in the middle of peak and there were quite a few drinks queued before hers. I just think it’s funny when people get so worked up over a cup of coffee or a shot of espresso.

You’re doing great! Don’t let customers ever tell you otherwise. I feel like there’s a weird stigma around Starbucks where people feel they have to act extra entitled and snobbish when they order it. Like, sorry Melissa but you’re going to have to wait a second for your $5.57 hot drink that tastes like milk and burnt cereal.
