My favorite is being super exaggerated and saying "Goooooooooooooood *insert time of day here* ans thank you for choosing our starbucks where our coffee is made with love, how are you today? "

not me personally, but an old SSV of mine once answered the DT as elmo during a really slow time. i was laughing so hard i was bent over in tears, and the customer demanded that elmo cash him out as well 😂

Some mornings we have the person on dto answer with funny names and if the person in the drive thru laughs/plays along we’ll give them a free drink

I had a partner once be super enthusiastic over the drive thru system - at 8:45am with a line that was probably there for two hours. Made my day.
