Thoughts? (self.starbucksbaristas)

What are your thoughts to a manager or shift supervisor constantly asking their baristas why they can't cover a shift on their day off when the baristas say they cannot cover the shift?

Are baristas allowed to say no without having to explain themselves, or do we always have to have a reason for wanting our scheduled day off to remain a day off?

no is a full sentence as far as i’m concerned. your day off is yours to do with as you please, you aren’t responsible for keeping the store running smoothly

honestly you don’t even have to respond because it is your day off. (but do respond by saying “no” because it’s still respectful)
