Hi all! I was just wondering why on occasion, I either get a free drink coupon or a free drink. I never wait long enough to be deserving of either. They always just tell me to have a great day when I ask! 🧐

It also could be that you are nice and friendly? I’m not opposed to giving out an extra item to people that are polite considering how many rude and nasty customers we get sometimes.

this!! i was at DTR the other day, and one of our baristas was a bit burnt out and running slow. the woman waiting at the window was so nice and understanding, and told me to not worry about it with the most sincere genuine smile. I went and got her 2 cake pops for her and her daughter (no charge) because it was the first time all day someone didn’t have a conniption when they were told it’d be a minute!

It all depends on the barista or someone may have paid for your drink and they just didn’t communicate it properly
