Literally every shift I get is a closing shift and I hate it (self.starbucksbaristas)

For the past three weeks, I close every day. Literally every day and I don’t get out of work til 11 pm. I can’t go out at night, I can’t do anything during the day either really. And guess what?? I have open availability.
I feel like it’s not fair :(

I only closed for maybe my first 2 years with open availability. I finally asked for a change and then kept getting mids which didn't change much for my social life, and I kind of missed the chill late nights.
Now I only open, but that's because I changed my availability, but the point is talk to your SM. They write schedules and then copy paste x infinity with small changes because it's easier.
They'll only know you don't like your shift is if you tell them. If you have asked and they won't change, you gotta change your availability.

If you're literally closing every day with no days off, then at least you're making lots of overtime.
Regardless, have you tried talking to your SM and asking for a little variety? A little communication goes a long way.

Talk about it with your manager, and if nothing changes, ask for a transfer. J
