So this morning we had a lovely gentlemen come in and order 4 shots of espresso while pointing at a tall cup. The barista on bar starts to write the cup, then he says “no I want the tall. The bigger one.” So my barista says okay a venti, “yes the venti” he says. Barista grabs the cup, “no the venti” barista is very annoyed at this point. Well at least I was. Grabs a Trenta and begins writing the cup. I approach the register and attempt to inform the customer “sir just so you’re aware we aren’t normally allowed to serve espresso drinks in trenta cups. They’re reserved mostly for teas and refreshers” of course he goes on to say “well my Starbucks does it for me” (get the fuck outta here and go to “your” Starbucks then)” oh really I say which Starbucks, because they really shouldn’t be doing it so if you tell us which one we can go ahead and have that corrected so we can all be on the same page.

He goes on to say, well I guess everyone is wrong but you, blah blah blah, I’ve been coming to Starbucks for 30 years and I’ve never had this issue. Jesus Christ it’s 6am buddy.

I almost slapped him with well sir the trenta has only been out for a handful of years. But didn’t find the need to

Then he goes for 20 years I’ve never had an issue.

It was funny because a second ago he had been getting trentas for 30 years and now it was 20. Adult tantrums are funny sometime
