So as we all know, happy hour was upon us today and my store definitely got hit hard. To say the least, it was a rough night for customer interactions.

I was on drive thru all night, and along with that I was yelled at by angry customers more than a few times ( people not understanding that happy hour is for those with the app, hot coffees not counting for the deal, etc.)

Then I randomly get this woman in the drive thru, and she is so sweet, like the nicest lady I've met. The whole time she's just so pleasant and super thankful when I helped her figure out what drink she wanted. Then she informed me that it was her birthday! So of course she got her drink for free, and I had a free second so I wrote happy birthday and put a little heart sticker on her cup for her. Though I was a bit disappointed when she didn't notice before driving away, I was so happy when she called the store later to thank us for doing it. She said that it really made her birthday. It was honestly just so sweet, she's the type of customers that make me like my job.
