I had my first Labor Day shift and it was wild-constant nonstop cafe and drive thru-with college being in session, people from Florida due to the hurricane (I’m in GA), and just general people. How has your shift today?

ours was shockingly quiet for most of my time there. I opened and stayed on through our normal peak time, but it felt like we didn't even get the normal number of customers.

Huh maybe your location has less of a drive to get their coffee everyday? Something like that. Or they respect people you have to work during “typical holidays”? But either way, nice!

Can confirm it was nuts as well 24/7 even after close people were still trying to come into cafe/lining up in drive thru/ordering at the window itself. It was hectic.

That sounds awful, I’m so sorry

I cleaned actual human feces off the cafe floor on Labor Day. It was great

Haha it was one hell of a day. Also I just saw you said you’re in Georgia, same!
