There's a licensed store on my campus and the people that work there are sent from Hell. They're so mean and never make drinks correctly. I asked for a Touch of extra sweet cream (in a vancrm cold brew) and an employee goes

We're gonna charge you for that.

Are you kidding me??? The coffee you gave me was basically black with no cream IN IT.
I work at a corporate store and can never imagine treating anyone with the absence of kindness that they do.

I worked at a licensed store for Caesars so we just got benefits and such through Caesars. But for corporate, you get partner discounts for any corporate starbucks, free spotify, markouts, insurance etc. At our stores in Vegas, we still had district managers and what not but we’re able to change our prices and weren’t given the benefits of a normal starbucks. Stores like the ones in Barnes and Noble, Meijer, Target, etc are all considered licensed stores.
