You can still find the Coffee Master Journal online, download the .pdf and possibly print it off, depending on how you like to learn. The Coffee Leader Journeys will also help you gain pertinent Coffee Master knowledge, and if you can get a hold of a copy of the Coffee and Tea Resource Manuel, that’s helpful as well.
As for your manager, it depends how receptive they are and how much work they want to put into it. My current store manager basically remade the Coffee Master program from the ground up and is currently working with our DM to host different Coffee Master ‘classes’ across our district. The first ‘class’ of about 8 or so people ‘graduated’ at the end of July, and the next ‘class’ is set to start next week. But I’ve had other managers that actively stalled me from pursuing the program.
Good luck!
