Hello Baristas, Payroll question (self.starbucksbaristas)

I recently just moved from CA to AZ. In Ca I was early 14.27 now in AZ I am receiving 11.02 so a significant cut in my pay. Do you think I’m able to negotiate my pay with my new manager. I know i am not gonna be able to make 14 dollars again but as I have been here for about 2 years received raises, string partner. Is this doable, anybody with a similar experience?

It’s because it’s adjusting to living. I moved and I went down as well. California living is extremely expensive. You have to negotiate with your dm. Your manager has no options and can’t adjust your pay! Good luck! Doesn’t hurt to try!

Everything is negotiable, I’m an SM. Get in there and kick butt. Show them what you’re worth and then have the pay conversation.
