My coworker called me useless (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by drinkbleachbitch
Tomorrow is my last day after about 8 weeks. I had a bad experience from the people I worked with. They were rude to me. However, today takes the cake. A woman comes through the drive through and pulls past the order station. The ding goes off and everyone heard it. Since I'm dto I would have been the one to take her order, but she wasn't there. I heard from across the store, "omg why didn't she take that, so useless". Now I'm not hurt by that statement because that's just her personality, but seriously? I'm contemplating calling off for my last day just because I don't feel welcome and appreciated. And I hate everything about it.

I'm sorry you're hurt. I would say if you really don't feel well then take the day off. Again, I'm really sorry this store treated you poorly.

Fuck that I would straight not come in for my last shift and I very rarely call in sick.

I’m sorry about your experience there, some people just suck.

Regardless if it her personally that was seriously unnecessary of her to do. You shouldn’t let her get away with saying stuff like that. If she’s so open to mention you being useless she has a serious problem with keeping her own opinions to herself. I’d definitely tell the manager with everyone who has been bothering you or made you feel horrible working after eight weeks. It’s disgusting! So sorry you been through that. I’ve had my fair share with partners not keeping opinions to themselves like that it’s horrible.
