Post interview question at Starbucks (self.starbucksbaristas)

I just had an interview at Starbucks and the manager seemed to like me voiced this as well. However, she mentioned that there’s a new store opening and that she’ll give the manager at the new store my app and I should get a call back. I just wanted to see if others had a similar thing happen and if they still ended up getting the job?

yep! The exact same thing happened to me! The manager at the store I applied to really liked me and then she gave my app and info to my actual manager of the new store that’s opening & now I’m working at an entirely different store waiting for my new one to open lmao

Thanks for letting me know. I just got a bit confused and hesitant in terms of why would they call me from that store for a completely different store. But thanks so much!

Not with a new store opening, but the manager I interviewed with said that I wouldn’t be a great fit for her store (which I completely agree with lmao) but that she would pass on my info and question answers to the manager at a different store. I got a call from the other manager like 4 days later, she asked me a couple pretty basic questions regarding scheduling and then I had the job! So it can definitely happen :)
