If not specifically told if someone wants their drink hot or iced, make sure you ask them hot or iced.

Always ask if they want their pastry warmed.

You aren’t allowed to warm sugar cookies, vanilla scones, cake pops, and Madeline’s. Basically anything that will melt or fall apart in the oven.

If they’re doing a non-dairy milk in their drink, ask if they also don’t want whipped cream. some times they do but usually non-dairy drinks prefer no whip.

You are responsible for getting any Pike, Bold, and Blonde drip coffees. Even if they ask for some sugar/Splenda/equal/raw sugars, syrup, whip, etc. in it.

If you’re not doing front AND food, you are responsible for grabbing your own pastry if it doesn’t get heated up. (Cake pops and any pastry that they don’t ask to be warmed)

Red eye= drip coffee of their choice with one shot espresso
Black eye= drip coffee of their choice with two shots
Purple/Green eye= drip coffee of their choice with three shots

Brew coffee in the order of pike, blonde and bold every ten minutes (clip the timer on you so you can reset it for another 10 minutes once you start a brew).

Keep an eye out for mobile tickets so you can sticker them and place them at the bar in time order.
(Ex: 10:09am, 10:11am, 10:15am)
Read them carefully in case it says “in a venti cup” etc. so you sticker it on the right size.

If you see a trash can getting full, change it. Cans that the espresso and milk jugs get thrown into get double bagged.

If you seen and emptied pitcher of cold brew, tea, water, lemonade, or iced coffee sitting, ask if it needs to be restocked.

Communicate to drive thru (if your store has one) when you’ve ran out of a food item.

If you can’t find a special instruction button just hit “ask me” on the bottom and type it out. Like if they want a nitro lid on their cup or something.

Breathe. Smile. Ask for names on every order. If someone is getting frustrated that you’re going slow remind them you’re new.
