How is the dark cocoa nitro made? (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by LaytonWho40
Had like three people ask for it. I keep handing it off to other parters to make because I’m clueless and can’t find a recipe card lol

Pretty sure it’s only a thing at reserve bars and it comes from a tap.

So just tell people you can’t make it lmao. Because you can’t.

Which is sweetest answer you can give 😈

Oh okay thank you!

It was only at some stores, it involved putting frap roast and a dark cocoa flavor spray in cold foam, more dark cocoa and LCS in the cup, topped with another spray. If you want to offer them something similar, put a single pump of mocha in the cup and a pump of frap roast in some cold foam for a nitro.

How do you not know what your store sells? That's a reserve drink. Unless you work at a reserve store you can't make it

You’re a reserve

Roasted

Damn dude I thought the nitro was full of pressurized gas, but you’re just sitting there waiting to pop off on other baristas, aren’t you? Thanks for being hostile about a genuine question, have a great day! 😊

All you need is some tough love sometimes baby

It was not only at reserve, it showed up at my tiny standard Cafe store for a while. I don't know if any of the other stores still make it. There are a lot of items on the menu that are rarely ordered and even more which used to be official but aren't on the menu anymore (but we are still supposed to make them, I e. Red velvet, cupcake, cotton candy Fraps, vanilla bean coconut milk latte, etc)

To make matters more complicated, most baristas are not trained on drinks that have been discontinued but, again, fall into the category of things we are still expected to make. No need to get saucy about it.

Wasn't saucy. Asked a question. No need to be easily offended
