Cold Brew Frappuccino? (self.starbucksbaristas)

Okay, so I am on my 10 but had a question for my fellow baristas. Have you ever had someone order a cold brew frappuccino? Like, sub frap roast for cold brew? We just had a lady in drive through ask & we aren't allowed to do that in my district. I was curious if it's just a district thing or if this lady lied to us because she proceeded to complain to me and my shift leader about thus being the only Starbucks that didn't have that option, then proceeded to be rude to me even as I nicely handed her the frappuccino. Just curious if this was a thing of a frappuccino with cold brew at other stores (and my district just isn't allowed to do this) or did this lady just make it up?

It's one of those grey areas. There's no real way to account for using cold brew in that way in the 'inventory' system. I've never made one personally, but it was really popular around the time we first started getting cold brew in stores. I have a feeling people think that it's a less acidic alternative.

We’ve got a few regulars that get it at our store. It’s always when you have a green bean on bar so you have to explain how to make it three times

I am actually a green bean still but am getting the process. Someone else said it was common so I guess it's just a district thing. We should definitely talk to higher ups about it. Lady, if you are on here, I apologize.
