i’m put out on drive thru all the time and im so used to it now but i suggest cueing orders as soon as you rung them up and try to make customer connections as much as you can, if the customer seems as if they do not want to talk, either try to talk to them or find something to do while waiting for their drinks to be done. other than that i’m not really sure.

Don’t leave the window if that’s where they put you, if you need anything YELL, talk to the customer the whole time bc if not their customer connection point will plummet (again at window), try to make taking orders not conversational to give your partners some more time rather than overwhelming them with drinks, and work with the flow they establish

If you get put on bar during peak (if you’re there during peak) be prepared to lose your mind.

They probably won’t put you on DT if your store doesn’t have one
